Jessica – Neurotransmitters, Circulation and Digestive Problems

As for Jessica…hers is a very long story of unhappiness and negativity. Today almost 24 years old, Jessica has always had so many problems that it would not be easy to say which one is the most difficult to deal with. Although from her early childhood she had been seen and treated by various conventional and alternative medical doctors, nobody really was able to help her.

By some she was seen as hyperactive, others saw her as autistic, still others believed she had emotional problems. Her neurologist put her on Ritalin. Yet Jessica had such a severe reaction to a very small amount of that drug that she was off Ritalin two days later. Next, a top child psychologist in a country we lived in at that time, having assessed Jess, pronounced that she was not hyperactive but had severe emotional problems caused by her short separation from me in her babyhood (I was hospitalized for a month, and Jessica was with my sister during that time). After three years of behavior therapy, the psychologist finally agreed that the psychotherapy was not helping, and that probably it was food that was affecting Jessica's behavior and concentration. Dealing with allergies may sound easy, yet it was not in Jessica's case. She tested positive for inhalants, many foods, and her chemical sensitivity was suspected. Jessica responded well to the treatment for inhalants, however, she became allergic to more foods. After many doctors who specialized in allergy, many different treatments and diets, there was no change in Jessica. Since she began testing positive to all foods she had eaten during the week before the test, the new idea developed that her allergies tended to change. Well, how do you deal with multiple and interchangeable food allergies, chemical sensitivities, weak immune system, digestive problems, and hormone imbalance? Jessica's doctors called her condition a "vicious circle," and, unable to help her, suggested another psychotherapy!!! Imagine my unhappiness. The medical horror continued, and Jessica was gradually losing hope and was becoming more and more negative and unhappy with herself.

What happened yesterday? Well, Jessica agreed to have a session with you as a special favor for me. Among her many problems she also has, and is sharply aware of it, a problem interacting with others. Before the session, she was pretty stressed and very nervous, and she asked me to be with her. After the session with you, she was ELATED AND VERY HAPPY! It was such a pleasure for me to see her happy face, after years of watching her brooding, complaining and listening to her negative comments. Later Jessica told me that she began to feel relaxed and very comfortable from the moment she heard your voice. During the session, she felt waves of warmth moving throughout her body, and she said she saw a strange light that seemed to surround some nerves or capillaries, if I understood it correctly.

I was also pretty impressed by your medical reading on Jessica. Having no knowledge of who Jessica is, you were able to find her problem areas. It is interesting that you mentioned a problem with her neurotransmitters. Jessica was neurologically tested a few times. Nothing abnormal was found in her brain. Only once, irregular brain waves were detected. However, her neurologist asked me to ignore the results as the same test repeated later showed no change. Her allergy doctor believed it was a proof that her allergies affected her brain function. Yet, I often thought about her neurotransmitters, having noticed so many times some kind of a lack of connections. You also saw some problem in Jessica's heart areas. Well, I am just her mother, but she may have a circulation problem as her feet and her hands are usually ice-cold.

Although today Jessica got up not as happy and positive as she was yesterday, partially because of a diet you had suggested for her, she is somehow different. She is absolutely more relaxed, tension from her arms and her neck are gone, she is much less "jumpy" and, I think, more confident. However, it is HER EYES which impress me mostly. Before yesterday, Jessica usually avoided eye contact. She looked at me, as it was my requirement, but never in a way she looks at me now, like she doesn't have to force herself anymore, but looks into your eyes naturally when she talks to you. There is also something (which I am unable to describe yet) in her eyes that is so very different from Jessica's eyes yesterday.

I talked to her a few minutes ago, and she asked me to tell you that she is still happy.

I will let you know how Jess is doing but think she would want you to work on her digestive system and her allergies some more. I don't believe she will need my presence next time. We also have a friend who would need your help. Thank you so much for all you've done for us.
